Dr. Scott
Brenman - Plastic Surgeon Profile
is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons. He received his M.D. degree with
honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.
After completing medical
school, Dr. Brenman continued his surgical training at Pennsylvania
Hospital with a five-year residency in General Surgery. Dr. Brenman
completed his Residency in Plastic Surgery with two and a half years
at Duke University Medical Center. A Hand and Microsurgery
Fellowship at the University of Louisville followed the residency.
He
is a clinical instructor in plastic surgery and is actively involved
with the teaching of residents and medical students from Temple
University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Scott Brenman has also been honored as a "Top Doc" by the
Philadelphia Magazine as one of the region's best plastic
surgeons for cosmetic surgeons for women.
Dr. Scott Brenman has a strong interest in mountaineering and in the
past has served as a trip physician on climbing expeditions to some
of the highest mountains in the world. More recently he has been the
plastic surgery consultant for the Womens World Cup Soccer team and
continues to treat team members and their families of the
Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers.
Dr. Brenman has authored many
original articles and book chapters in major plastic surgery
textbooks. He continues to write and lectures extensively on many
topics in plastic surgery. He is a clinical instructor in plastic
surgery and is actively involved with the teaching of residents and
medical students from the University of Pennsylvania.
In order to better serve his
patients, Dr. Brenman keeps up to date with the latest advances in
plastic surgery through a continued commitment to his education by
attending frequent national meetings. In addition, Dr. Brenman has
received the distinction for being listed as one of the "Top
Surgeons" in the
Consumer's Research Council of America listing. Dr. Brenman has
also been honored as a Top Doc by the
Philadelphia Magazine.
