Dr. Cambeiro graduated from Summerlin's, Bishop Gorman Preparatory School, just outside of Las Vegas. He then graduated from the University of Southern California's, Psychobiology Program. Dr. Cambeiro then received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the University of Colorado, at the time, one of the top four clinical medical schools in America, according to U.S. News and World Report. At the University of Colorado, Dr. Cambeiro received the Owens-Swan award as the most promising surgeon in his medical class.

Dr. Cambeiro completed five years of general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program. There, he received general and vascular/trauma surgery training, served as Chief Surgery Resident and scored in the 99th percentile in the nation on his American Board of Surgery in-service examinations. He then took time off to travel to Honduras where he performed general surgeon work at medical clinics there.

Returning to the States, the Las Vegas plastic surgeon continued his education in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Mayo Clinic, where he once again donated his surgical skills, this time to Global Health Outreach to help Vietnamese children with congenital defects of the face.

Today, Dr. Cambeiro is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Additionally, he is Board Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS).
