This 45 year-old woman from Bonita Springs, Florida had an initial breast augmentation in 1983 with a different physician and found that the other surgeon's surgical techniques failed to provide the long-term results she wanted. Specifically, she was unhappy with the firmness and position of her older implants and the puffiness of her areolas. After searching for plastic surgeons in Naples, Fl, she consulted with Dr. Frank Campanile and explained that she wanted to restore a smoother look, better cleavage line, and more comfortable shape to her breasts. She and Dr. Campanile decided revision surgery would best address her concerns.

Before her surgery, they had discussed her dissatisfaction with her older implants, which had been placed above the muscle. Dr. Campanile explained that because of her body shape, it would be more appropriate to place the new implants in a sub-muscular position. During her surgery, Dr. Campanile removed her old implants and closed the implant pocket before creating a new space below her pectoral muscles. He inserted new 350cc silicone gel implants and focused specifically on reducing the amount of space between the two implants, as the patient had requested.

This woman was very excited to see the results of her revisionary breast implant procedure near Bonita Springs. As evident in her post operative photo taken almost two months following surgery, her breasts now appear much more symmetrical and at a more natural distance from each other. Dr. Campanile was able to restore a defined shape and smoother contour to both breasts as well as reduce the puffiness of her areolas. Her incision lines will continue to heal, and she is already very pleased with how her results compare to her previous breast augmentation.
