"Dr DeWire has been the best thing to happen to me in years!! He was able to shape my figure, boost my morale & make me feel good about myself simply by doing what he does best.....artistry in cosmetic surgery. My implants are very natural looking, and indeed they feel like I was born with them. His staff are super friendly, informative and efficient. I traveled from OH to see him, but would have traveled from my home country of OZ (Australia) if I had to!! I thoroughly recommend Dr. Tom DeWire to anyone considering breast augmentation. He totally involves you in the process and treats you as a person and not a "customer". He also gives wonderful brunch recommendations!!"

"I went to Dr. DeWire in January 2001 for a symmastia/bottoming out repair. I can honestly say that I could not be happier with the results. After having three failed repair attempts (by previous surgeons), Dr. DeWire was able to fix my breasts. He is a very professional and honest surgeon, who is compassionate about what he does. Dr. DeWire cares about his patients, and his light-hearted attitude makes even the most nervous patient feel at ease. "I had my BA with Dr DeWire in January 2001, and I highly recommend him as a wonderful surgeon with an artist's eye. I traveled from MA to see him after corresponding with him through email for a few months. I had a few concerns because at the age of 48, I was older than most of the women getting a BA for the first time and I had a platelet disorder that caused excessive bleeding during surgery. He reassured me that neither would be an issue. He arranged for the special medication that I needed to be administered before surgery and took twice as long as he normally would to do the surgery so I wouldn't have any problems. I had an easy recovery and went sightseeing two days after my surgery. He is such a wonderful, caring doctor and he makes you feel as if you are his only patient whenever he is with you. I couldn't be happier with my results and I would go back to him in a heartbeat for any future cosmetic surgery. He is wonderful!

His staff is great. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions about everything from travel arrangements to post-op visits. My experience couldn't have been better!"

" I have been very pleased with my results from Dr. DeWire. He is excellent at the Trans-Ax procedure, no one ever notices my scars... they have to ask for me to point them out. I live in the metro Washington DC area, and I can say the trip down to Richmond was well worth it. I researched several (many!) PS's in the DC area but could find none to match Dr. D's credentials/style/patient satisfaction/etc. Furthermore, Dr. D is excellent at repair work & redo's! I think it's important to chose a surgeon comfortable with all modalities of breast augmentation! I recommend you at least get an 'email consultation' with Dr. DeWire no matter where you are from before making final decision on your PS! His office is very accommodating to out-of-town guests, and when you are spending that much on a surgery (and want it right the first time), sometimes an added hotel/airfare isn't really al l that much. Thank you!"

"I traveled from PA to see Dr. DeWire in July 2002 for a consult one day, surgery the next. As soon as I met Dr. DeWire, I knew that I had made the right choice. He made my husband and I feel very comfortable right from the start. He didn't pick a pre-determined implant type and size prior to surgery, as he waits until surgery and uses sizers to see which size and type best fits your body. His bedside manner is wonderful, which can be hard to come by these days. Dr. DeWire was very thorough in telling us the possible risks involved. My recovery was very easy. I'll definitely return to Dr. DeWire when I'm ready for a redo. You can go wrong with Dr. DeWire...he is the BEST!!!"

"I drove the 8+ hours and Dr. D was everything I expected and then some. I'm still shocked I did it or that hubby agreed to it but once you meet him, you'll see. He exudes confidence, considers no one else but you at the time and is extremely driven in the practice of B.A. art. He is a true craftsman who is confident of his work. That makes all of the difference. You can actually begin to tell his work outcome if you look. He is that good. He is particularly good at finding out what each person's "look most natural naked" look is if that is what you are interested in."
