Practice Philosphy

The goal of my practice is patient satisfaction. I strive to provide quality, comprehensive plastic surgical services in a pleasant, efficient, convenient manner.

Surgical Facilities

All procedures are performed in either a hospital operating room setting or a certified free standing surgicenter. You will find the staff at each of the sites caring, cheerful and competent.

Consultations

Consultation is by appointment only. During the consultation the patient and Dr. Gilbert will meet and discuss in detail the problem, surgical solutions, any alternative treatments, costs, potential risks and complications, expected outcomes, post - operative care & pre - operative instructions. Friends or family may be present if desired by the patient. Literature will be given to the patient. There will be plenty of time for all questions to be answered, with the goal of the patient understanding the proposed surgery in detail. Scheduling can be done at the same time as the consultation or at a later date per the patient preference. Patients return for a second consultation at no charge for pre operative history, physical and signing of surgical consent form. Photographs are taken at either the 1st or 2nd consultation. Payment is expected at the time of the visit. It is appreciated that if you do not plan to keep your appointment we are notified as soon as possible.
