Dr. B. Pat Pazmino completed his B.A. in biochemical sciences at Harvard College. He went on to receive his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he was voted "Outstanding Medical Student" for both surgery and plastic surgery. During this time, Dr. Pazmio also acted as member and chairman for the Committee of Admissions as well as coordinator for Casa Juan Diego, a refuge for Central American immigrants.

For his post-graduate work, Dr. Pazmino continued at Baylor with a residency in general surgery/plastic surgery, accepting positions as faculty member on the Committee of Admissions and house staff member for the Fact-Finding Subcommittee of Baylor's Graduate Medical Education program. While completing his residency, Dr. Pazmino was winner of Best Maxillofacial Paper at the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation's Senior Resident's Conference. Additionally, he participated in a number of research projects and presentations on topics ranging from bone regeneration to aesthetic surgery training to breast cancer gene therapy.

Dr. Pazmino is licensed by both the state of Texas and the state of Florida. He has co-authored several publications, holds certification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support and has maintained an active membership with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
