History:
She under went augmentation in 1994 with 220cc. Round, Saline, Textured McGhan implants placed thru peri-areolar incision, in a partial retropectoral position. Note: the infero-lateral bottoming out of both implants and the excessive inter-mammary distance (probably related to malposition and excessive displacement from pectoralis muscular forces)Treatment:
Her one month post-operative result restores the balance to her breast and chest wall. She under went:
1. Exploration thru the peri-areolar incision and enlargement of the pocket superior and medial.
2. Capsulorrmaphy (closure) of the enlarged pocket inferior and lateral.
3. Complete inferior myotomy of the pectoral made.
4. Replacement of 220cc textured implants with 375cc smooth, Mentor implants filled to 400cc. Implants remained in a partial-retropectoral position.
