Dr. Kenrick A. Spence - Plastic Surgeon Profile

Specializing in the practice of cosmetic plastic surgery, Dr. Spence sees the mission of our practice as seeking excellence in the care of the cosmetic surgery patient while treating them with dignity and respect.

Dr. Spence is fully trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as general surgery. He completed his medical education at the University of Connecticut, then spent five years as a General Surgery Resident, and one year as an attending physician in trauma and emergency medicine at St. Raphael's Hospital, an affiliate of the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Spence went on to complete an additional three years as a Resident in Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas.

The American Cancer Society has recognized Dr. Spence for his commitment to the health of women in our community. He also volunteers his time and care to women who are victims of abuse. As a member of the Blocker-Lewis Plastic Surgery Society, he has received awards from the Government of El Salvador for medical missions he participates in to operate on children with birth defects.

Continuing education is important to Dr. Spence as he regularly attends symposiums related to procedures he performs to incorporate the newest techniques in the fields of breast surgery, liposuction and other aspects of Plastic Surgery.
