Updated on: August 1, 2018

If you've had your breast augmentation consultation, or even if you haven't yet, chances are your board-certified plastic surgeon discussed the different type of implant brands. Majority of the breast augmentation procedures performed today include Natrelle implants. If you're considering Natrelle (Allergan, Inc.), take a look here and make an informed decision today.

About Natrelle implants

Allergan is a U.S.-based manufacturer that has been through rigorous FDA standards and has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing breast implants. Allergan manufactures the Natrelle® line of saline and silicone breast implants, and the more recently FDA-approved Inspira line.

Natrelle has a widely diversified portfolio of breast implants, all in various sizes shapes. If you are looking for an increased fullness to your breasts, take a look at the Inspira line. If a round shape for your breasts is what you’re aiming for, see what Natrelle Classic has to offer. If natural breast curves are your goals, then browse the Natrelle 410 (“Gummy Bear”) line for your needs. Finally, if you are looking for a combination of shape and curves, peruse the Natrelle saline catalog for your solution.

Natrelle implants are popular in Europe, Canada, and the United States. Though the latest Natrelle products have only recently gotten approval in the U.S., they have been popular worldwide long before then.

Why doctors choose Natrelle

Doctor’s choose Natrelle for a number of reasons. Firstly, Natrelle implants use industry standard cohesive silicone gel, which is preferred by surgeons for its form-stable, durable and safe nature. Secondly, Allergan stays ahead of the competition by offering more options for breast shaping with its 410 and Inspira lines.

Natrelle makes both silicone and saline implants.

One of the chief choices you will make is the profile of your implants. Simply explained, the “profile” of your breast implant refers to the distance your implant will project from your chest. A “low profile” implant is flat, whereas a “high profile” implant will project further. Read more about choosing the right implant profile.

Natrelle silicone implants

Compared to saline, silicone implants are by far the more popular of the two. This is because they are made to exact specification—there is no risk of over- or under-filling these implants, unlike the saline variants. Furthermore, there are surgeons who agree that silicone implants have the most natural look and feel.

Natrelle has a number of silicone implants in a number of different shapes, textures and profiles including:

Style 410

The Style 410 uses highly cohesive silicone matrix (cased in Allergan’s own patented BIOCELL Texture technology), and is the only shaped breast implant of its kind. It has the widest selection of implant options, and emulates the aesthetics of a natural breast with a “tear drop” appearance.
