I'm curious whether implants somehow impede CPR or related emergency care? Also, I know that device cards are given to patients; but, I was wondering whether you recommend something like medic-alert bracelets? |

![]() | Should not effect emergency care
Having breast implants should not have any effects on emergency care - including CPR. Therefore, a medic-alert bracelet is not needed. With health care becoming more digital, eventually we will all have some sort of electronic record that can list all of our medical history. Hopefully you will never need emergency care, but if you do, your implants will not be an impedement.

thank you dr. ghaderi. i know that when it comes time for mamograms to be taken, then the technologists have to be told in order to take the mamograms accordingly, so i was wondering whether the same was true of other care which involved the chest area. |
