Endoscopic Abdominal Plasty

I am concerned about the post surgery - months later - swelling that i read about on this web site from women who have had tummy tucks. I had an endoscopic abdominal plasty. My PS went through my hernia scar in belly button and my c-section scar. He did lift up the skin to help with the ripplying that would happen when he pulled the muscles together since I had a 2 inch separation. I am waiting 3 months before I begin running, riding or swimming. Now, my athletic history is 2 Ironmans, 22 marathons with completing the Boston Marathon two weeks prior to surgery. My tummy looked like I was four months pregnant prior to the surgery. The last thing I want is for it too look this way again. If I begin running/triathlon training - will this happen? Will I swell due to a severed lymphatic system and retain lymphatic fluid from figurous athletic training?
