![]() | transauxilary incision and silicone
I'd like to ask if its possible to have a transauxilary incision using silicone gel implants. I am interested in 371 cc's -- what do you suggest?

It is possible. I believe most doctors use the under the breast incision. Unless the pocket is created under direct vision and precisely, the transaxillary approach has a higher rate of complications.

thanks for the response, i am having so much trouble making a decision based on all the info i have read, i still prefer silicone but dont like having to be limited to the placement. im aware its easier having saline with the transax since they arent pre-filled but after feeling them both in the PS office i do think the silicone has a more natural feel and i do not want a fake look. Any suggestions?

Some doctors will place silicone via transaxillary incisions. Just make sure they are using an endoscope or direct approach. Otherwise go with a inframammary incision. No one can tell you which implant to use or what to do. You need to make a decision.
