my breast hard like a rock

I have my 1st breast augumentation in november 28,2007. At that time I just have my baby for 6 months and my breast was still producing a little bit of breast milk, and my dr. said it is okay to do the surgery, so I listened to him and did it. He did a nice job very even, but then after a week after surgery, he told me to massage and the more i massage the more breast milk come out and and breast milk also came out from the cut (where he putted the implant in) so i was so care and i told my doctor and he said not to massage for a week and give me bromicriptine to stop the milk, and i think at that time i developed capsule for not massage so i did not massage that much any more. My breast is getting harder and harder now, and now i feel like a hard rock inside my breast. Now i'm waiting to have it redo soon but I can't do it now because i still have a very little of breast milk come out, so i want to dry out completely before i take another chance. I also went so big at that time, i'm 5,3'' 100pounds. i thought he put 420cc saline under, but after i saw the card it was 460 hp and over fill to 510 and it was too much projection. i'm petite person and i don't want that big. I have no breast tissue, i was 32 aaa, now i want big B small C with silicone under. less projection, please let me know what is best to look on me, he suggest me to go 420 hp again but i want nature looking not fake looking any more, and don't want to develope cc again. what is the best way to prevent that. Thank you so much for reading my post. and looking forward to hear from you again

I usually do not place implants while patients have milk production. If there is still a little, then I use an infra-mammary or crease incision. The problem is, the breast is not sterile and contains bacteria. The exact cause of capsular contracture is not known, but may be related to the bacteria. Massaging the breasts has not been proven to reduce hardening. A moderate profile implant typically is less fake looking in my opinion than a high profile. In any case dropping one size down to a 420 HP will not significantly change anything. It will likely be a little more than a 1/2 of cup size. Placing smaller implants may help the hardening, but additional treatment may be required. You still may develop capsular contracture again. You need to discuss all of this with your surgeon.

Dear Dr. Hueneke,
Thank you so much for your reply. You've mention that additional treatment may be required. Could you please tell me what is it?? I've asked my dr. that I don't want to have the capsule again and he just said nothing he can do, all i do is massage and take alcolate, he will remove all the capsule and replace with a new implant, I'm so nervous that the capsule may come back again. but i think it was because of the milk (bateria). Please help me, i'm in california san jose, otherwise i would visit your office. Thank you so much for your advise and hope to hear from you again.

There is no way to prevent capsular contracture 100% since the cause is the way it forms is not completely unuderstood. It sounds like your doctor is doing all he can, but additional surgery may be needed.
