Adding CC's to existing implants

Hi Dr. Hueneke. I am thinking of adding 55cc's to my existing 275cc implants. I am at the minimum right now, and of course, 330cc is the biggest I can go without having a redo. My question is....will it make ANY kind of a difference? Not only with size, but also with firmness and upper pole fullness. Have you performed this procedure? Is it safe, any problems? My PS says that he will perform this procedure under local anestethics, will I feel anything? Any information will help. Thank you very much.

It will make some difference in all the areas you mention. If you are looking for a cup size change, then bigger implants are needed. I have performed this procedure in office under a local anesthetic and patients do just fine. You are taking the nearly same risks you took at your first surgery.

It refers to how full or round the top of the breasts look. Obviously, desireable to have the right amount.

Breast implants are what provides that benefit. A breast lift alone never does. The larger the implant, the more fullness you get. Higher projection implants also can help some.

Really hard to say without seeing you. I would ask your surgeon.
