Question Timing to drop

Hi Dr. Kearny,
Thank you for taking the time to answer my post. I am 6 wks. s/p augmentation/mastopexy. I have dropped, but I am not sure if it I am completely done dropping. What is a typical amount of time to drop?
Also, I am not sure(and haven't been since day one) that I am completely happy with my size. I would like a little more projection. How do I discuss this with my surgeon without sounding as if she didn't do a great job? The last thing I would ever want to do is imply that. I'd like to at least bring it up and my f/u appointment so that the door is always open for discussion of changing them out at a later date if I don't "fluff" like some say can happen.
Again, thank you for taking your time to answer.
Cali

Most patients are fully dropped by 3 months, a few it takes four months.

It is very hard to pick implants prior to surgery despite trying them on and looking at pictures. If she does not ask you if you are happy with your size then just say I love the way I look but I think I went to small. This should be completey non offfensive to your PS and will complement her at the same time as ask the question "what if I want to go bigger?"

Thank you Dr. Kearny! That's exactly what I needed. I love my PS and she does great work, so the last thing I wanted was to sound bad. You must be a wonderful doc too!
