Thanks for taking the time to read and respond to this. Your time is very much appreciated!

In another thread, you wrote this:

"The capsular contracture rate for silicone implants is around five times higher than for saline implants and the failure rate for silicone implants is .5% higher. I believe this is because PS try to put them in through small incisions hence dragging some skin bacteria into the pocket and potentially weakening or even breaking the implant upon insertion. Having said that I never make an incision less than 4.5cm to put in silicone implants . . ."

I am aware that not all women are good candidates for getting silicone implants with the peri-areolar incision because their areolas are not big enough to accommodate the incision required for a silicone implant.

So my question is this:

I currently wear an A-cup bra. I am looking to achieve a C or full C cup. I want silicones. The diameter of my areolas are 4.25 and 4.5. Do you think that my areolas are too small for the peri-areolar incision?

If the diameter is 4.25 and 4.5 then the circumfrence of either areola should be large enough to put in a silicone implant.
