My implants are 1/2 under the muscle. They were never high in my chest after surgery. They were perfectly "in the right spot". Are most breast augmentation surgeries done this way??

When any PS says they are putting the implants under the muscle what they mean is that the upper half of the implant will be covered by muscle and the lower half will be covered by skin and breast tissue. This is why silicone is better than saline in patients who are very thin with little breast tissue or in those woman who want a large augmentation. Dr. Kearney |
