Lateral Malposition

Hello,
could you please explain what is one to correct lateral malposition. I am 6 wks post op BL/breast augmentation and my left has consistantly been in my armpit since day one. My right side is perfect and left has no upper pole fullness like my rigght, my left arm is always rubbing my implant and "in the way". Left nipple position is pulling laterally as well. My PS wont say anything now other than I am too early and I am fine!!!!! Any advice on whats done for correction is appreciated. Thanks so much!

I think your PS is correct, you need to wait at least three months and then figure what if anything you would do to correct asymmetry that might exist.

I did not answer your entire question. If the implant is moving too far laterall then you will need to have internal sutures placed to close the pocket. The key is the timing of such - you need to have settled completely so that you don't set one implant in a "good" position relative to the other only to have the opposite side settle even more. Sorry for the truncated answer earlier.
