Bottoming Out Revision.....Want To Go Bigger???

Dr. Kearney,

I am 3 months and 2 weeks out. I currently have 500ccs and am bottoming out on my right side. I am looking at a revision. I was thinking that I could make the best out of a bad situation by going bigger while having to go through another surgery. I was thinking 650ccs. I read on line that when you bottom out you can't go bigger, or at least it is best not to. I have no breast tissue at all, I am all implant. Is it true that I wont be able to go bigger?

Unless you change profiles the larger implant will be wider without significant change in projection. Bigger implants need more support when corrrecting bottoming out so it would be b est to stick with the same size implant, however you can go bigger, just don't do anything strenuous after the surgery to pull the internal stitches out. The risk of this would be increased - you are rolling your own dice so be careful.
