Question itchy rash

I am 9 days out from having my salines switched to silicone due to one breast never fully dropping (orig. breast augmentation 5 yrs ago) and decided to go smaller. Since last night my breasts have and still are extremely itchy. I've developed a rash on both breasts. Am I being paranoid thinking I may be allergic to the silicone implants? I'm aware that salines are made from a silicone shell and I never had a reaction to them except for scar tissue. I had a bad allergic reaction to silicone contact lenses that I'm still dealing with. (inflamed red eyes, ulcer) I don't know if there is a correlation between my eyes being allergic to silicone and my implants.

Could it be the sports bra that is causing my itchy rash? Could I be allergic to these implants? Or could I have an infection? Thanks!

I was also itchy about the same time you are now, i thought it was because the skin was so stretched and it was healing, like when a scab itches when its about to come off because its healing, and for me it hurt to itch so i tried not to do that but if you are itching alot you may be giving your self what looks like a rash but may just be irritated skin, although if you continue to have this rash i would talk to your doctor, also if you by a new bra if your anything like me you cant wait to wear it but you should wash them before you use them (not saying you dont cause i dont know, i do know that people dont always) but some stores my have sprayed something on it that irritates your skin, but like i said if the rash does not go away i would talk to your doctor or even if its making you tht nervous i would talk to your doc. I do hope everything turns out ok, and that you have better healing in the future!!

It is not your implants-probably some kind of contact dermatitis. Call your PS.
