![]() | revision changes
Hi Dr. Mele 6 months ago I had a lollipop lift & 350cc put in. A month after surgery my left breast at the end of the incision opened up & by the time my ps closed it I ended up getting a huge lump afterwards. 2 weeks ago I had a revision surgery. My ps removed most of the lump. Put in bigger implants. At the same time I asked him to give me more upperpole fullness & sew the bottom of my right pocket. (I dont think he did this) I feel that 1 week out of my revision that I am back in the same position as before my revision. Is this possible? I compared side by side of my 5 month pics to my 2 week revision pics & they look the boobs are the same. My left never fully dropped like my right & its tight. I thought it was because of the lump. I am still uneven & its frustrating & I feel like I am never going to even out because my 2 week revision looks the same as my 6 month 1st surgery boobs. So my questions are. 1. Will I be changing anymore with my revision? 2. Is it possible to not change after a revision & go back to where you started before revision? Thank you!

Dear Daisydog: I can't really comment about how you breasts looked before, during of after surgery as I have never seen you. As far as your questions go, I can't answer what will happen specifically for you but I can give general answers that would be true for the majority of women who have two breast surgeries in less than a year. If you are only 6 months out from your first surgery and only two weeks out from a revision which included new larger implants I would expect that your breast will continue to change over the next 12 months at least. It is possible that a surgery does not do what we expect it to do. This is usually the reason revision surgery is performed. In general trying to lift breast and increase volume at the same time makes the lifting less predictable.
