Question question.............. PLEASE

Hi,

I'm going for my breast augmentation in two days time.. YAY, very excited...

But i have ONE question.... I'm due to start my period over the weekend, so my breasts are sensitive and slightly swollen (the normal pre period stuff)... will this have an effect on my operation?... Is it ok to get them done during this stage?

Any help is greatly appreciated...
Thanks

Dr. Mele will become famous soon enough
Dear Mookyspunky:

Opinions vary. I have not seen much difference; however, some plastic surgeons will try to avoid elective surgery during the menstrual cycle to minimize the risk of bleeding. You will want to check with your surgeon.

PS - Is your screen name meant to be the spoonerism of Spooky Monkey?

Thank you Dr. Mele, however I wont be on during the surgery, I'm only expected to start 3 or 4 days later, my concern is the tenderness in my breasts during surgery. I will of course discuss it with my ps tomorrow during my pre op.

About the mookyspunky - i cant actually remember how I found it... been using it for years already
