![]() | When will they drop and look nice and round?
I had my breast augmentation 3 weeks ago tomorrow and my implants look like they are still high up on my chest. I have that lovely bump up high. They do not look nice and round yet, more oblong. I have looked at pictures of other women, with similar stats as mine and they look like they dropped already, have the round look, etc. Why do some women drop right away and others (like me) don't? I am wearing the strap per my PS. Do you have any advice or words of wisdom and expertise for me? -- other than just have some patience, which I know I need. ![]() I have 440cc, hp, sil., unders. I was a sm b/a pre breast augmentation (nursed 3 children) and am hoping for a D!!!!! |

Every PS has different recommendations, but mine suggested going braless from day 1 for 3 weeks to help drop. He said I can wear a sports bra or wire-less bra if I REALLY want to but it's best to go braless.... Different PS will say different things though. I'm on day 4 and I've softened up, but obviously still have a way to go.

Dear Jlouis: Thanks for your question. With implants behind the muscle it is normal that they are high at three weeks. How high is too high depends on what is being done. Sometimes going braless is a good option, sometimes it is too much. Massage can also help if properly performed and supervised. I use a soft elastic band the runs above the implants to help encourage southern migration. Avoiding underwire is normally advisable at this time too. I would discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and see what is recommended. There are many maneuvers that may help, but the most important is giving your body time to heal.
