Options For Second Surgery

I Recently Had My BA (July 2009). I've Had Problems With Slight Tenting (Symmastia) && Bottoming Out.

I've Seen My Surgeon, And She Suggests 2 Things.

1.) Switching From Unders To Overs?

OR

2.) Going In And Stitching Up The Pockets?

My Question Would Be...

Which Do You Suggest? Also, When Switching From Unders To Overs..Will This Fix The Symmastia/Bottoming Out??

Thank You In Advance For Your Reply

The best answer is, it depends. It depends on examining the area and seeing exactly what is going on. It also depends on what is found during surgery.

Both are reasonable options. The advantage of switching location is the ability to start new with the formation of the pocket. The disadvantage is more visibility of the implants and any rippling that may occur, and a small chance of problems that may occur from having two pockets. Physical examination would help determine what type of coverage is afforded my your natural breast tissue.

Stitching up the pocket, would maintain the advantages of being behind the muscle, but could not be reliably performed through the armpit incision.

The best option depends on the reason for the problem in the first place. When we are surprised and unhappy with the results of plan A, making plan B the same as plan A is likely to be equally disappointing.
