![]() | nipples too low
Hi Dr. Pelletiere! I had my breast agumentation six weeks ago. I started off as an A cup and I got saline 325 implants filled to 390. Initially at my pre op my surgeon said that my nipples sat a little lower on my breast then they should be, but during the surgery my creases were not lowered to even it out. So now after six weeks my nipples are still too low and I'm not sure if my implants dropped all the way yet. I was told to stop wearing the strap after one week, and I haven't really seen any changes yet. I can feel the implant at the bottom of my crease and I'm really worried that my nipples aren't going to move up any higher. Do you think that they eventually will? Also, how do you know when the implants have dropped down into the pocket?

Just be patient. If you started at out as a true A and are filled to 390cc, then the tissues really need time to stretch out, especially the lower pole, from your nipple to the fold. I would give it three months before making any judgement on things. I would massage the implants twice a day to help them soften up and stretch. The strap will not really help, so I wouldn't bother with it. In another 6 weeks, see if you have made progress. If not, then address it with your surgeon.
