Smooth or Textured?

I currently have bad rippling in the cleavage area, only 2 months after my surgery. I am switching from saline to silicone and currently have textured 300cc saline implants. Should I switch to smooth to help prevent rippling? My doctor said it won't make a difference and textured are the safer choice but then everyone says that adds to rippling. What would you recommend?

I have very little breast tissue and was a 36AA to begin with.

Dr. Pelletiere will become famous soon enough
Switching to silicone will help, but you will still probably see some rippling. I would switch you to smooth- sometimes the texturing will grab the scar capsule and pull it more, causing more rippling. If you are having bad rippling, then you may also benefit from reinforcing the medial areas with some type of agent such as Alloderm or strattice - these help add a little tissue to those areas.
