Question Amount of cc's for a full D or DD

Dr. Pelletier:

Please don't be alarmed of my username. I am a female that just can't remember my usernames very well, but I can remember 007.

I am scheduled for my breast augmentation on 9.10.09 and this is my second breast augmentation. I had my first in 1988. I am 123 lbs., 5'6", 32 ribcage, 250 cc's in both left and right. I presently am a C cup. I would really like to go to a Full D or DD. What cc's would you suggest? I wish to stick with silicone gel implants.

My surgeon will be using Mentor HP.

Thanks.

Dr. Pelletiere will become famous soon enough
I usually tell my patients that to get to a regular D, you need something in the 375 - 400 range. In your case, I would probably go with something in the 450 - 500cc range. You have 250cc now and are a C. Adding 200 - 300cc more will definetely put you in the fullD/DD range. Just remember, cup size is all subjective. You can get measured at three different places and be told you are three different sizes. Also remember that the HP can look a little more round the larger they get, so if you are looking for a more natural look, you may want to ask about the moderate plus implants as well. I hope this helps.

Thank You!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review and answer my question. I guess due to my breast bone being wide as well, the surgeon felt HP would allow me to go up some cc's.

Wish I had this forum back in my day!

Thanks again!

You are welcome. I hope everything works out for you. A wide sternum can make the choice of implants limited.
