![]() | Extra large breast implants
Dr. Pelletiere, thank you in advance for your time I currently have saline 390ccs overfilled to 430cc and 440cc, round, moderate profile, unders and am wearing a 32E to 34DD bra. My implants are about a year old as well. I am unhappy with my size, shape, and look. While I think my ps did a great job, they are, to me, too natural looking. I am wanting the really round, oversized, fake look. For lack of a better term, the "porn star" look. I at least want to increase my cup size to 2-3 full cups larger. I am in an entertainment industry that extra-large breasts are common and would benefit me a great deal. I was wondering if you do procedures this large? I have pictures on my profile or I would be happy to email you some as well! Thanks again

Thank you for contacting me. Yes, I do the whole range of implant sizes. I just had a patient who we changed from 600cc to saline moderate plus 800cc, overfilled to almost 1000cc. The hardest thing about going larger is the width of the implants. Some women want to get into the 700-800cc range, but even the HP implants are too wide for them at that size. The good thing for you is that you have the moderate profile right now, which measures out at about 13cm based on the size at that overfill. Just as an example, you could fit a 550cc HP saline, overfilled by 100cc to 650cc, and not even change the width of your implants. This would give you more of the round "fake" look. If you are OK with increasing the width, then you can accomodate alot more. To jump 2 cup sizes, you want to get in that 700-800 range from where you are now. The real question is whether you have the tissues to stretch and cover the implants, etc. and how these will effect things long term. If you could send me some photos to our email address below, I will be happy to take a look at them and give you a better idea of what it might take to get you where you want be..

I received the pictures, and they are helpful. I sent you an email, but will post here as well. You have alot of your own breast tissue to work with, and that is good when it comes to the larger implant sizes. The more tissue you have, the more coverage you will have over the implants, the less you will be staring at the ripples, etc. In terms of placement, it is a myth that placement of the implant determines whether it looks real, fake, etc. It is just a myth - what dictates that is the size, shape, overfill, etc. Especially when you are getting into the 700cc plus range, it definetely is a benefit to have a little extra tissue. As long as someone understands the risks, both short and long term, of going into the extra-large implant sizes, and has the room, then it is a completely acceptable option.
