Hello Dr. Chris! Wanted to drop you a line, but in the forum this time as opposed to an email. This question might be something other ladies are wondering and it may be posted somewhere here, but who knows. For people who don't know me.... Long story short: June 08 - Original breast augmentation (550cc, overs, aerola, silicone, HP) Jan 09 - Righty Capsulotomy for grade 4 CC ---did not work- UGH. June 09 - Dr Pelletiere changed placement on both with a complete capsulectomy on both (righty was BAD). All well at this point. (550cc, UNDERS, aerola, silicone, HP) Aug 09 - I realized righty was beginning to ride high, but still soft. Sept 09 - Pocket revision on righty done by Dr. Pelletiere, HE IS AWESOME. ALL IS WELL at this point. YEA, HIGH FIVE!!! Okay - Question now,LOL. With all that said above....do you think I am safe to get my nipples pierced??? They are still both numb at this point and I'd rather have 'em done while their numb, if you know what I mean. :-) I hear it's pretty painful. But Dr. Chris with all my issues, and problems - would there be a bigger chance with my risks of getting an infection or returning CC??? I still take Minocycline and I will take this for another 6months at the least. Would this protect me as well Honest opinions please. Thanks Dr Chris and all who give opinions.... AKA - Nichole

Glad to hear that everything is going well. You should send some pics to the office since it has been about a month now. With regards to the nipples, you shoul be fine. I usually tell patients to wait a month before they have their nipples pierced. You should be fine, and it should not stir up anything with regards to contracture, etc.
