follow up care for BL/BA

What is the typical follow up visits for someone that has a BL/BA done? I am going to be traveling quite a distance for this to be done as the PS I want to use is the one my sister works for (buffalo to florida). I will not be able to fly for some period of time due to a ear surgery I will be having a few weeks after the lift/implant procedure. What is the normal post op visit timeframe? If I am a typical case and do not have any complications I heard my drains, stitches and other things will be taken care of in the 8 days I will be there after surgery. I do not plan on going back at all till maybe end of November/December... do you think this would be a huge problem? I think most non emergent issues can be addressed via email of pics or meds right?

Also not sure if you can tell but from my pic do I look like someone that you say defintly needs a full anchor lift? Any rcommendations on size... I want to be a small D but I do not want to round.. more perky and have a curve. Which Silicone implant would help achieve that... also would you remmend someone with my size (where a 36c bra now to stuff all of it in) under or over for implants?

Lastly my job only allows me a short amount of time off from work so basically I am scheduled for the bl/ba on 8/8 and then am going to new york city on 8/28 for ear surgey. My ear surgeon does not have a problem with doing the procedure that close after bl/ba should I be concerned about any problems? i usually take antibiotics after the ear surgery for any possible infection. It is realatively easy (flipping of ear drum, trying to get 3 prosthetic bones to work right so I can hear). I am fairly used to ear surgery as it will be my 17th...

Just tyring to get some ideas...

Thank you for your time!
Amber

Each plastic surgeon has their own timeline of follow-up, so you would have to check with your surgeon. For a patient that is undergoing your procedures, I usually see patients on post-operative day 1,7,14, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year. Of course, if there are issues, than there may be more visits.

Without examining you, it would hard for me to say what type of lift you may need. However, from your picture, I would not be suprised if you needed a full mastopexy. There appears to be a fair amount of loose skin.

It is hard to tell which implant may work well for you without having measurements and a true idea of how much skin is present.

I generally go partially submuscular (dual-plane) for implant placement - it provides muscle coverage where women are thinnest (at the top), but still lets the implant sit naturally under the breast tissue.
