I am 6 days post op. I started with a small 32A and said I wanted to be a B not even a full B Just a B. I went with 275 Silicone on my Right & 300 Silicone on my left (mentor mod+) and I just feel like they are WAAY to big for my body because I have a really tiny tiny frame and the implants have given me massive side boob and Im more like a C+... Not at all what I wanted- but I called the Dr and they said that Im prob just swollen and they will go down about 10%- I just dont really feel swollen, I feel as if I had a fast recovery, I stop taking the pain meds into the 3rd day b/c they made me feel sick and I felt I hardly needed them.....How long will it take the "swelling" to go down? When will they usually drop? and do you think I will meet me goals or will I be stuck with an C cup?! I really want to be smalller!!

Good afternoon, 6 days- you are definitely still swollen and probably will be for three months. I always size patients in the office with a surgical bra and implant sizers and they pick their own size. Hopefully you did this and can rest assured that the size you picked will be the size you are after all swelling/healing is finished. Sincerely, Don Revis, MD www.SouthFloridaPlasticSurgery.com |

I know I need to give it time & not unfortunatly I did not have sizers or anything to try on like you used. He did have a computer image thing but it was decieving and I didn't really base my desicion on that, I let my PS use his best judgement- I felt it was had to judge from a distorted picture. Only time will tell - I serisoulsy wish I could go back and take away about 50cc and go with my original plan but I was told that it wouldnt have made any difference under the muscle but i dont see how!!! Im dreading a redo but if thats what it takes....thanks you so so much for your imput
