Since right after post op, I noticed a possible symmastia. At times I have a pinching pain where implants feel connected. I've been really concerned about how my right breast is sitting soo high and feeling much firmer. I had my breast augmentation 12 weeks ago and have been massaging consistently. I've noticed for a couple weeks how my right nipple began pulling down. Could this be capsular contracture? If so what grade and what can I do to help or correct it? How soon before I can undergo a revision surgery to correct symmastia & cc ? You may see photos below. The following photo is at 9 days post op. This is when I noticed a possible symmastia. . The following photos are at exactly 12 weeks and 2 days post op. In these photos possible cc & symmastia, could be seen. Thank you! |

I love your size and they look ok....just one side is sitting high and still looks a little tight. The other side looks good and doesnt look like it's bottom out, but it does look like it's past the mid line.....so could result in symmastia and be more noticiable after the other side drops and touches it more. What did you doctor say? |

Hi, I noticed it's been a while since you're last reply. I'm hoping you're well and wondering how it went with your doctor. Hope to hear from you soon.

![]() | I went to my PS. He says I don't have symmastia and I have an early capsular contracture grade 3 in right boob. He recommended 3 ultrasound sessions already covered to helo soften the capsule. If that doesn't work, then he can perform an open capsulotomy. I'm hoping for the best and a second opinion...

Good afternoon, I apologize for the delay in my response, but it sounds like you are getting good support from the forum and your PS. I would comtinue with the ultrasounds, and a second opinion never hurts! best Wishes, Don Revis, MD www.SouthFloridaPlasticSurgery.com |
