Adjustable Breast Implants

I was wondering with the Adjustable implants how long do you have to wait before you can get them adjusted? I know I have read within the first six months but does that mean I can get them adjusted 3wks after surgery or is there a time period?

I think you can get them adjusted as soon as you wish as long as the skin is not too tight, the wounds are healing properly and your PS is in agreement.

I have adjustables I had my breast augmentation in March and going for my 1st expansion on the 23rd. My surgeon had me wait because he didnt want my skin to stretch too much and he wanted the implants to settle and the swelling to go down before the expansion so I could have a better idea of how much bigger I was going to be as he was adding the saline on the day of my expansion, after that he is going to give me 2 weeks so that I can decide whether to go bigger or smaller before he removes the port. My ps said that I can keep the ports in up to a year but I am happy with my size now if anything I may just add a little saline and after my two week trial period as he calls it schedule for port removal.
