Not Dropping

How long should I wait before I get concerned that my implants have not dropped. I am 7 weeks out and I'm worried the pocket is not large enough for the implant to drop. If not would this be something that my surgeon should be responsible for since he is at fault. If this is the case what can be done to fix the problem? Please help thanks so much. I am so concerned because I have 3-4" of hanging skin where the implant is not filling out the bottom part of my breasts. Thanks

Good evening,

What I find is that most patients drop between 3-12 weeks, some take as long as six months, and some do not drop far enough. If they do not drop far enough, speak to your PS about a revision and his or her policy about redos.
