I hear you are the BEST!!!

I am hoping you can give me a little advice or direction. I am 4 months post op. I had a BL/breast augmentation I went in to my consult and show photos of the outcome I was going for. I know I will never be a supermodel but I just wanted a fake looking upper round implant. My surgeon told me "oh i can do that!" I had surgery and have been in tears since. I think the lift was great, the scars look great, the size is good. But I look like mrs doubtfire, with just a mass on my chest with no defination or shape. I went back 3 times now for follow up and at my last one I sat in tears and told him I can acheive the look i want by pushing them up with my hands but not in a bra and not naked, is there anything that he can do to get where he said he could get me?? He basically told me NO. he rolled the dice and sorry i didnt get that look. It is as good as it gets. I know they are just breasts , but i now wont get naked, i wont look in a mirror, i keep covered up because i feel like everyone is looking at me like i have huge old lady boobs and not nice sexy boobs. I am sorry to ramble, i just want to know if there is any direction i can to get closer to what i wanted. I have 650cc HP silicone under the muscle.

That is a picture of what i look like now

that is what i looked like 1 week after surgery.
the last picture is the look that i brought in to him not that i expect to look anything like her, just the general idea of that upper roundness that i was after.

Better Result

Good evening,

Thanks for the nice photos- I think there are several things going on here- you got an under the muslce + lift with silicone when the photo you posted of your desired result really looks like overfilled saline over the muscle.

Since your body type is completely different from the model, you must have realistic expectations and know that you cannot achieve exactly the look she has. However, if you were to come to me for a revision I would do the following:

1) leave the implants under the muscle but switch to a smaller shell diameter saline implant overfilled to 650cc. That will give you the rounder, firmer look and will be more narrow, making your chest look less matronly.

2) I would perform an internal bra in the midline, basically providing some separation between the breasts. I'm not insinuating that you have synmastia, you may or may not, but even if you don't your cleavage is just too close for the look you like.

Hope this helps!

In my mind I was thinking the exact same thing. I think these are too wide for me and i am not sure just putting in the middle internal bra would help as much as i wanted. I wished you werent right lol

If i go back to my surgeon and talk to him about these things, would i have to pay to have both of those things done as a general rule?

Would i call your office for timing and pricing and do you do a consult and revision all at once if we are travelling from another country??

Good evening again,

First I would approach your PS, discuss your concerns, and see what he or she will do in terms of working with you on the cost. Also, it is just as important to determine that your PS can handle the surgery. LOTS of PS do breast augmentation's, but not a lot do revisions well.

In terms of my own practice, I perform 200-250 implant operations a year, half of which are revisions, and half of the total come from other states or other countries. We streamline the approach so that your consultation is Day 1, surgery Day 2, and then followup Day 3-5 and then return home. The cost for your procedure would be in the neighborhood of $6000 with new saline implants, performed in a full service hospital, with a board certified M.D. anesthesiologist.

Talk to your PS, and if you're not satisfied with the answers, just send me an email at drdonrevis@hotmail.com or contact my office to speak to one of my nurses, as we would be happy to take care of you should you need us.

Best Wishes,
Don Revis, MD

Dr. Revis if you dont mind I am going to take down you email and contact you tomorrow. I have had some issues and have had a revision and I am still stuck in the same situation and in all honesty I dont think my surgeon is capable of fixing my issues as I have massive assymetry and one nipple higher and bigger than the other and a crease 1 cm higher than the other. I will email some pictures tonight or tomorrow as I may need to make a trip to you in the spring possibly.

we may need to go together. because dr revis is making perfect sense as to what i thought. I am not saying that because here is a doctor who is telling me what i want to hear, but here is a doctor that will take the time and figure out a way to fix things (instead of just saying "that is as good as it gets")
