Dr. Sorokin, Thank you in advance for answering my question. I had my first breast augmentation on March of 2008 400 left and 375 right mentor mod plus silis. NO complications, everything was great. I had a slight double bubble on my left side (the one with the 400). This brought me to a 34DD 8 months later, I decided they were too big so I had them exchanged them for 300/275 same profile. My ps warned me that they would be a lot smaller and there might be a little droop over the implant becuase I started out with some tissue. He was right, they are smaller but not enough droop for a lift. I am thinking of going back in for a size increase to go somewhere in between. Here is my questions 1) do the risks increase more with every operation? Like am i three times as likley to get CC or an infection? 2) Whare the risks cutting open at the same incision? Does the scar get thick? 3) if this happened to one of your patients, what would you advise her to do? Do you think its crazy to put larger implants in after going smaller? Sorry think is so long, thanks so much |

Complication rates do increase with each surgery. Scars tend to get worse. I am not there to know all of your discussions so can not comment on whether or not it is crazy to keep going back. I would say that you need to be happy as it is your body so if it takes one more time to get there, it may be worth it.
