saline vs implants

why is it that silicone gel costs more than saline implants?

i hope that i'm not stating the obious. i assume you are asking a question and requesting answeres. saline is just salt water. but, the cohesive silicone gels have had to go through quite a bit of testing and technilogical advance for them to be available today. that kind of thing can't be cheap. but, i agree. silicone is twice the amount of saline. that is a lot of $

I don't think you need a doctor to answer this one. Salt water is by far cheaper to produce than silicone.

i was only trying to spend about 5K on the girls... the silicones were more $$ (though my PS recommended them as a superior boob lol) but i didn't want to do all of the "follow-ups" they required as well as the bigger incision.

Saline is less expensive for the reasons noted above. The major reason is the years and years of extensive research that have gone into these devices. Any new breakthrough medication tends to cost more. This is the same with the newer implants.
