Inverted nipple correction

I have had 3 consultations and have decided, pretty much, on a surgeon. However, I have inverted nipples and 2 said that they will probably pop out with the breast augmentation. One says, they may pop out, but looking at them, he doubts it and is willing to do it at the same time. And one of the surgeons says it's not safe to do it at the same time. What is your view on this?

My PS says that my inverted nipples may pop out after the procedure. He did not recommend the procedure to have them fixed because he says that a lot of the time they will re-invert? I'm kind of bummed and hoping that my upcoming breast augmentation (12/10) will help them come out! I've seen some girls talk about having them pierced to get them out or using the Avent Nipplette thing. Not sure if that even works though. Good luck!

heheh I have one inverted nip and I am happy to say that mine has popped out most of the way on its own after the breast augmentation. It's about 80% an outie now.

I tried the Nipplette thing when I was pregnant and it did not work and I'm not really to keen on piercing my nipples (freaks me out a little). I am thinking I want to try the surgical method, but I'm still a little up in the air. Let me know how it goes with yours after your breast augmentation. You must be so excited that your breast augmentation is only a month away. I got 2 months for mine, January 12. I can't believe I am going to finally get boobies!

Well....after the birth of my second child my left nipple went in and I have to pop it out just about everyday (which SUCKS) BUT my doctor told me the same thing about the breast augmentation helping to keep it out without surgery. My appt is Nov 13. She also told me it is probably better to get the "surgery" for the nipples done at a later time, but at this point, I'm so excited about my breast augmentation, it wouldn't matter to me, and I probably will never surgically have it done. Good luck!

Both of mine were inverted, now they are more flat. I am hoping the breast augmentation will help them out some more. I was wondering if you had your breast augmentation, and if so what the effect was on your nipple?
