Hi, just posting from experience, I am NOT a surgeon lol!
I have overs and am 24 days p/o.
It varies vastly from person to person and my surgeon said it would be up to me when I felt comfortable really.
Personally I felt rather too tender and delicate to try anything at all until 1 week post op and then I felt intercourse may be a bit too rough so just did other stuff....
my birthday was 9 days post op so needless to say I just threw caution to the wind then if you get what I'm saying.
It still feels odd at times due the movement of the implant and there are times when I have to remind him to be careful but just see how you feel and good luck.

Thank you dear! At least you gave me an idea of the "wait time"...lol...I know to somebody it may seem a funny concern...but I cant be around my boyfriend without it too long...))) 9 days is not too bad! How do you like your overs? How do they feel? Does ur boyfrind like them?

The bugger of the matter is not getting your heart rate up too high (which is especially risky in the first couple weeks) high heart rate and blood pressure means more blood flow to the newly healing tissues and risks hematoma or at least swelling/inflamation.
The thing with sex is that you often can't tell you are hurting yourself until afterwards So just try not to go too wild.

lol!!! It was a pain having to wait.... but I honestly didn't feel physically or mentally up for it for the first week. I was just soooo tired all the time. It was also rather exciting when we did again... sometimes waiting makes it better I guess
I like my overs... I didn't really even consider the difference pre-op because in uk they seem to prefer overs and so i just trusted my surgeon and just went with what he said. Recovery time is also much quicker with overs which I needed for my work.
I had no breast tissue to start with so you can tell I have false boobs when I have no top/bra on. especially if I lift my arms up! I can also feel the edge of the implant where my cleavage is when I push them together or lie on my side which I am not that fond of... I know it's cos I have just skin over most of the implant. That makes me think 'maybe unders would have been better for my pre-op shape' but I have to say they look amazing lol. My man likes them alot too.... that makes me feel over the moon.

I am planning to have it on the 4th of August...uff.....soon.....I can tell I am loosing my sleep already...I think about it all the time...I guess you know exactly how it feels! I just keep on going over pros & cons...sometimes I am 200% sure and determined...then the other day I am more on the sceptic side of it...but I know for sure - I NEED BOOPS!!! I tired of the padded bra's and looking like a teenager...I am quite tiny...so I suppose I will also feel my implant more then other girls...I don't know. But I trust my surgeon and he thinks it will look perfect!

Btw. did you have a twiligh/local anastesia?

Yikes, the complications of getting the heart rate up during lovemaking are awful! Good thing my boyfriend was 8,000 miles away during my first month post op, hehe. In the end, it's still up to the patient to risk.

In my practice I generally recommend to wait around 4 weeks to resume sexual activities. I have heard of a patient (not mine) getting a hematoma having sex 2 weeks after BA. Not even any rough stuff, either. That particular patient was not one of mine, but had over the muscle implants. (I generally do unders). See what your surgeons' rules are on this since he/she knows your case the best.
