Question Internal sutures and massaging

Hello Dr Walden,

I had my re-do a week ago and this was due to overdissecting one pocket and underdissection the other. I had salines before and this time I have 250cc silicones. I have some internal stitches on top of one breast and because of this I'm worried about moving to much and harm my stitches. I have not started massaging yet and I don't know if it is a good idea to massage or not. What would you advise?

Thank you for your time.

Senata

Massage

That would be a question you would have to ask your surgeon who did the internal work on the pocket. I don't have patients massage after such type of work for fear that the sutures will be disrupted.

good luck,
Dr Walden
