![]() | Hi dr walden a few questions for you
Hi Dr Walden, i wanted to start out saying I have heard wonderful things about you! I read thru your website profile as well and was very impressed! I am looking to go from a full b to a mid or full c. I am mostly looking for a perkier fuller breast. I was reading into the incision in the armpit because of the lack of scar. But I noticed many doctors will not do this type of incision. why is that? Can only one type of implant be put in that way? Is there one type of implant and incision area that makes more sense because I am looking for little scarring, not a large increase in size? I have also been reading on breast lifts because I do feel that my current breasts are not as perky as I would like them to be, but compared to many of the pre op lift patients I saw, I do not seem to be as saggy as them. thanks for all your help!

![]() | Transaxillary (armpit) approach and implant type
Hi there, Thank you for your kind words! In general all three incisions heal well and can be used to place either saline or silicone implants. I use the transaxillary (armpit) approach on women who want either saline implants or silicone implants up to a certain size (350cc). If you have breast ptosis (sagginess) or an asymmetry the inframammary crease might be a better approach for you though, as those issues are more directly approached from the base of the breast in my opinion. Hope this helps! The above message is not intended to substitute or imply medical advice.
