How long does swelling last after a breast augmentation? Does a capsulotomy and crescent lift add to the swelling of a breast augmentation any? If so, approx. how much? I realize this varies but am wondering what the average time for swelling to dissipate entirely would be.

| Timing of swelling
For a procedure such as you are describing, mild swelling may last up to three or four months, but most of the acute post-surgical swelling is gone by about 3 weeks after surgery. Incision and scar healing is a process that takes up to 12-18 months for the scars to mature and become flatter. Good luck The above message is not intended to substitute or imply medical advice.
