Hey taye taye! I am 2 weeks post op, i am very athletic and go to the gym 4 days a week doing weights and cardio, pre op i was 10AA and i went 365vhp silicone over the muscle due to my surgeon only does overs because he beleives natural breast tissue is over the muscle not under so thats why he does overs and its quicker recovery, although a lot of people go with unders if they have little breast tissue as it looks more natural as going under the muscle gives it like an internal bra support and stops the implant being felt and less ripples although i went over i can not feel the implant or i dont have ripples. Because i work out a lot if you go with unders when you flex it can cause slight deformity only while you are flexing but when u stop it goes back to normal, so i have read on this forum, i would just shop around for sugeons as some only do over and some only do under and gather as much info as you can on saline, silicone, under or over muscle,i found this helped with me heaps!! my surgeon is Dr Goldman in leederville he is a specialist breast surgeon and he is amazing, very thorough and very caring. His website is www.robertgoldman.com.au. My girlfriend also had a b.a a few months ago and her surgeon is Dr Murray at Absolute Cosmetics and he did an amazing job too! hope this helps you! goodluck!!

I have overs. overs are best if you already have some natural boob meat. if not I think they recommend unders.

I am a fitness Instructor and had unders first time round, when exercising and tensing muscles the breasts pull part and can look a bit deformed but as you relax they go back to normal, Under can act as a bit of support which is a good thing! I developed CC and changed to over the muscle, they feel musch softer/more clevage as they arent being pulled apart by pecs etc and dont move when doing press ups etc BUT they feel heavier, move more, a lot less support and now need to wear 2 sports bras for the support I need and I am only a 375cc.

Oh and I was a 34aa before and even with overs and little breast tissue I dont have ripples and they dont look fake!!

I have overs and I think they look pretty natural and I am only post-op day 4. I like to work out and lift weights and my plastic surgeon told me sometimes unders could give the muscle a distorted look while lifting weights and contracting the pecs. Not sure if this is true or not, but I am happy with my overs so far!!

wow rn333 you look amazing!

how many ccs did you have?

the surgeon is right, when they are under the muscles if you tense them in any way they will get didtorted and move out towards the sides!!!

m first were under and now I have overs and I like them a lot more, can my move more and have a little bit of clevage which didnt have with unders!!

Thanks!! I have 375 cc mod +. They feel so huge right now but I am post-op day 4. Hoping they soften up. Thanks for the comment! I am definitely glad I went with overs. They were the better option for me

i have overs and my friend has unders and i am so glad i choose to go over cause she got her surgery a month before me and hers still dont look normal yet cause they havent dropped, whereas mine looked natural after one week...and my recovery was so much faster and less painful...i had the same dilema right up until the minute i was having surgery i was totally undecided but i am so glad i went with overs...

I was told the same thing. I have overs, I had tissue to work with, I was very athletic prior to baby and was getting back to that. It's best to have overs if you have tissue to work with. My doctor also said women with very little "AA" and "A" bra sizes need unders because there isn't space in their tissue for the implant. Unders can also cause muscle atrophy for athletic women.
