Health Clearance

Hello,

Do you know what you need for the health clearance before you get breast augmentation?

I plan to get liposuction done on my thighs and upper arms from another plastic surgeon. I was wondering if the health clearance that is required on liposuction can also be used for the BA?

If I get a clearance on the lipo from one doctor, would I be able to use it for a different doctor?

Do you know what the plastic surgeons generally require before you get a BA? Is it a series of blood tests?

Thanks so much.

Everyone is different. It really depends upons the health and age of the patients. Yes, the bloodwork should probably be the same for the two. I usually require at least a pregnancy test, sometimes a CBC, SMA-20, pt/ptt, urinalysis. Sometimes medical clearance. I don not get all these things for every patient.
