Smoking
What exactly are the implications of smoking post op? Can smoking cause Seratoma/ Hematoma?

Smokings main thing is that it can cause delayed wound healing. Any tissue that is a risk of dying can will more likely if the patient smokes. I tell patients to stop smoking at least 3-4 weeks prior to surgery.
