Self Tanner
Has anyone tried a good self tanner out there thats easy to use and doesn't leave you all streaky? I go to a tanning bed occasionally but my stomach is always 10 times tanner than the rest of me and i'm only 10 days PO so i can't tan the girls. Any suggestions? Thanks!

loreal sublime bronze. There is a gel one which I have tried but it seems to streak slightly more, plus it is not tinted so you cannot see where it is going. I like the blonzed tinted one so you can see where it is going and it does not seem to be as "strong" as the gel one, and has a more natural look. I like it because with the bronze tinted one you get an instant tan tint, then it gets slightly darker within a few hours..however it does seem to wash off after a shower....but I like it the best anyway.

haha that happens to me too! I normally use sun beds once a week - I am going to age really fast! But I have started having laser hair removal so no sunbeds for a while but yay no shaving either!
Sorry, back to subject, I use St Tropez everyday lotion as an 'undercoat' and then St Tropez mousse or spray as a colour darkening self tanner. Its great. I was quite smug when a beautician asked me where I had been on holiday because she didn't spot it was fake! The only down side is when all this stuff comes off it looks a bit patchy grr! But I think that happens with all fake tans. Oh, and I use a garnier facial spray tan, I can't remember the name but its the darker one. HTH x x |

This is a really good one. It's a spray liquid autobronzant, it doesn't turn you yellow and doesn't smell too bad.

Bare Essecentuals (sp?) Faux Tan lotion (doesn't smell bad and you can tell where you have put it) and they also have a powder bronzer that is beautiful. You can get them on QVC.com

I completely agree. I am naturally pretty dark in the summer, but my stomach does not tan the same as the rest of my body. BE Faux Tan is great. The color is very natural, and the smell is almost non-existent. Highly reccomend!

Erg! You know....with all the technology we have...I can't believe they haven't made a good fake tanner yet! They all streak, wash off quickly, become uneven, or have a bad tone. It is so frustrating! I know I shouldn't use a tanning bed...but it is so tempting! Nothing "safe" gives the same results!
Sorry....I had to get that off my chest. :P |

they all have there faults which is why i don't stick with them. i just tan moderately outdoors with sunscreen and avoid overexposure/burning. i do everything else healthy so getting a light an is my vice. plus i just view it as the body's natural process and rubbing a chemical onto your skin to make a color is far from very natural.

Here is a tip...use gloves to apply it so you dont get the dreaded dark palms. Also, start off with a light application and work your way up. Less is more. And it really gives you a good color.

Well i have a olive complexion, and i got a pretty amazing "tan" after one application. I know VERY FAIR people who have used this and loved the results....so natural, not orangey. I would say it lasts about 5-7 days.

ok so i got the faux tan in the mail yesterday and applied it last night, didn't get too many streaks so i'm pretty excited about that, but i'm not too dark yet. It didn't say wether or not to apply it every day until you get your desired tan like the one i tried before. I don't have much self tanner experience, so do i put it on again tonight? or wait a couple days? help please :-)
