PLease respond, I am worried!!! Need opinions

I ammm so stressed about my leftie. Since last night left looks and feels much higher and tigher! My right feels soft and squishes, like it is mine. Left feels tight, hard and the bottom and just feels like the mucsle sucked it up and if tight all around it! Can you get cc this soon in recovery? Left has always been the problem one. I could hear a squeak in there 2 days post op, and 6 days I got the reddness, it has always been more swollen, and now it seems tight, could the righty just have dropped, it is much lower now than the left. I am not sure if right dropped or left is contracting up alot. I cant miss my daughters high school grad in california on May 31, I am supposed to go there, I am so worried something is really wrong here. Am I getting myself all worked up for nothing? How different did your breast feel when one dropped and not the other? When I do massage, it just seems to irritate the left and even make it swell more and get harder, like it makes the mucsle contract. Right moves in the pocket so nice and soft, left doesnt seem to move up at all when I pinch from the bottom. I posted new pics on my group, please look at them and tell me what you think.

Hey there Sunny, I am so sorry you are going thru this, it really stinks. I am still early myself, I am only around 7 weeks, but I will take a look at your pics and let you know what I think. You made me laugh, I was like what the... does that mean? I posted on yahoo, I think you look awesome girl! I really wonder if you arent having some kind of muscle spasm. Can you think of ANYTHING you may have done different in the past couple of days? I would also give PS call for sure, so you can let them know what is going on, and maybe they can give you some answers. I would be a little concerned about the redness too. I am so sorry your having to deal with this. Take care and let us know.

Dea had a great thought, she asked me if I did anything differnt yesterday and I did, I went grocery shopping yesterday and didnt think about it till I got there, as the cart got heavy, I was having a hard time pushing it and had my 5 year old helping me, she said maybe it is just a muscle spasm??? That is what if feels like, like the muscle is contracting and pulling up the leftie.

I haven't had my augmentation yet, but, have you tried taking Singular? It can be helpful at preventing or improving CC. My girlfriend just had a redo for this reason and her dr put her on it beginning one week before and up to six weeks after. Just an idea. My motto is: if your scared call your dr!!!

Do you have any muscle relaxers?? Maybe if you tried that, and still had the sensation, that would at least rule out the muscle spasm.

Im sending you loads and loads of hugs....Ive applied to join the group so cant comment on the photos yet but please try to take it easy.....I really over did it in the first few weeks and my right boob ached for days......I dont think you should massage it at the moment if it hurts as it may 'irritate' the muscle more. X

I took a flexeril and put frozen corn on it, it does feel softer and it isnt as high and tight as it was earlier. Maybe it was a muscle spasm? I will call ps Monday.

how soon did you get cc from your breast augmentation surgery? Did you notice it right away?

I peaked at your newest pics. I DO see that darn leftie is higher. Maybe you strained that side yesterday and are getting the reaction today with the muscles tightening back up. You did right by icing it, I think. You're just going to need to keep a watch on that one, and def call your PS on Monday, for your own peace of mind.

I know you're worried about absolutely having to be able to travel to your DD's graduation. But you know, even if you needed something done to leftie, it wouldn't be happening any time soon. You are too early after surgery. So you'll be able to go to graduation, no matter what. I think you can let than worry go.

Thank you for that, that is true, I didnt even think about having to wait a few months for any type of correction! That helps alot, thank you!

I did notice that my crease is lower on right, it makes the left look higher, I was probably always that way but never really noticed cause I was so flat.

I think monday I'll email my ps a pic.

Hun and I garee with the others. Leftie does look a bit higher but I also think this could be that it needs more time to settle. Icing it is a good idea and as the others said give PS a ring on Monday just to see. I know sometimes it feels silly to phone them about all these little things but that what their there for!!!!

I tend to agree about the muscle thing...and the need for it to catch up with dropping.
But, I will say that you are right to be concerned/cautious, particularly with the 'redness' episode that you had Day 6. I'm assuming that has passed? Are you on antibiotics??
When I had my infection, the infected booby was higher, tighter, and tender. That is not uncommon!! Infection actually IS uncommon!! So the tricky part is being cautious about other symptoms AND breathing down your (paid for!!) PS's neck to get answers.

Don't mean to be a party pooper...but I'm supposing you are asking because you are concerned. So I thought I'd share my thoughts.

yes I was on 2 antibiotic and extra 10 days of cipro that I finished yesterday so all done with them now. I guess if there still is an infection there and the meds were keeping it contained that it will get worse with no more antibiotics so in a few days that should be answered? Did you look at the pics titled worried about left, cause when iclicked on new pics at the top those didtn come up for some reason. Left is aches this morning,feel like a muscle strain, that is the feeling it has, also doesnt move at all in the pocket and righty moves great, I can see the implant moving in the right. I think left still looks swollen though, is that normal for 3 1/2 weeks post op?
