Uneven Swelling & Pain

Ok, so I know it's sooo early and i shouldn't be worrying about anything yet, but one boob is much bigger (not sure if it's cc or swelling) and more painful than the other. I also have occasional sharp stabbing pains around the incision (crease).

Is it normal to have much greater swelling on one side than the other?
Thanks girls!

Hi,
Its normal for them to feel very different (as the girls on here are always saying, you've had 2 separate surgeries so they are bound to be different).
I have just had a revision and have been having those sharp stabbing pains at my crease too. They are actually quite strong and are making me yelp. It has been making me worried so I just called my ps office. He should get back to me this afternoon, so I will let you know.

the swelling is normal and the boobs may heal at different rates of time as it is two different surgeries. i also have a shooting pain on one side especially when I try to take in a deep breath, i called the doc today and it is normal, just muscles getting acquainted with their new friends! Hang tight, I think the first week is supposed to be the worst.

Fashionknockout will become famous soon enough
It's way to early for you to have capsular contracture.
What you're experiencing is totaly normal and will get better within the next few days.
Enjoy your new boobies sweety, there's nothing wrong.

Did your doc overfill the more swollen one? Did it have less skin? I know my right one hurts more than the left and it's the one he overfilled more.

Also, my doc told me to lift my arms above my head and lower them down. He said that would count as my massage until the swelling went down enough for me to actually massage them. They are soooooo feeling better.

actually i have silicone, L-450, R-500, so the left more sore one is actually the less filled (but started out bigger to begin with). But it's feeling better now, still more sore than the right, but manageable. Thanks!

It's been 4 days since my redo. My right side is a lot more sore than the left. I started having the sharp, shooting pains on the right side yesterday, but haven't had any on the left side yet. It's normal for one breast to be more sore, more swollen, etc., than the other. Each breast is a seperate surgery, so each will heal at it's own rate.

I have swelling and bruising on both sides.
