Mondors Cord?

I was just looking in the mirror and see that I have mondors cord under my left breast!...That explains why I've been so tender in that spot! Is there anything I need to worry about or does it just go away? Some advice from anyone who has had it is much appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for posting this q. this is something I haven't read about at all. It's good to know that it's not permanent. Good luck with your recovery I hope it goes away soon.

OMG, this posts timing was incredible!!! I was putting on my bikini two hours ago and noticed a lump off set a little from my incision and i was freaked out at first until i realized it wasnt my incision!!! Then i just brushed it off as it did not look to be anything related to a more serious complication I bet that this is what it is, and thank god they are not permanent! Did any of you girls experience numbness under your arms? I was numb everywhere for awhile including my sides under my arms, now i am slowly gaining back feeling and i am so tender!

I have had mine for like 4 weeks now. I just wish it would go away. There is only one under my left breast. I really haven't had any pain or anything, just a bit sore. I haven't taken too much ibuprofen, because it has upset my stomach in the past. My PS says it will go away on its own whether you use ibuprofen or warm compresses. They are just for soreness or discomfort. Hopefully it is gone soon since bikini season is right around the corner!
