right areola not healing well not possible blood level may cause necrosis,

So I had my Full breast lift 10 days ago with BA. Sever sagging and tubular breast. The breast that was less tublar is having difficult healing well the areola. As I was recover in bed I noticed that it was going black while the other one was pink. I was going anyways to the dr. When he saw me boy was he concerned. The nurse and him starting poking me and touching it.He said that there is blood supple because I started bleeding. So now the inner part I guess the nipple is pink but the the outer is still black. He prescribed more antiobiotics and neosporin twice a day plus he wants to see me 1-2 times a week. I;m a wreck.. He says that he looks like it is just going to take longer to heal due to the fact that is was such a complicated surgery, I had a major lift can you belive being a 32 B .,, But they were down to my belly button thanks to my 2 girls. He seems concerned so that is why I'm freakingout. Has anyone had this and it got better? He told me that it just seems that it will not scar nicely and he will redo the scar for free in an OR..

Take a deep breath It sounds like he has you on the right track to a recovery now. I have not delt with this, but if it was necrosis I'm glad you caught it early. I have seen pictures of ladies that had sever necrosis that had complications from it. Just keep up with your anit bioticts and neosporen. If you have an more concerns, call your Dr. immediatly. That was nice of him to offer to fix your scar if it didn't heal well. I have seen scar revisions that heal as nicely as the opposite scar Good luck and happy healing!

Oh, wow! You are starting to scare me. I am going to the same doctor in five days!! Do you think he did something wrong during the surgery? Dr. Taneja seems really young, huh? I hope you feel better

Hi

He seems like he knows what he is doing. I had a full lift it was a very complicated surgery lots of skin removed.. It seems to be healing super slow.. I guess there is a risk with every surgery.. I'm going every week to see him he seems concerned about me sobi guess that is good.. Ill keep you posted,,
